Summer Events

Summer events are always a huge success in the UK, from fun days to meetings in the sun outside a country hotel are always a very relaxing and great way to enjoy the sun whilst having a meeting or conference. If you have an event in the Summer you need to make sure your delegates can also have some time to themselves as relaxing is always the best way to gear up for an event. Country hotels are always the best bet as they offer extensive conference and event facilities but also have superb facilities for relaxation. These normally include swimming pools, Jacuzzis, spas, large gardens and sometimes even saunas and steam rooms.

Country hotels are normally situated just outside of a town or small city and provide large amounts of relaxation whilst making sure you are focussed for your meeting. The levels of service in a country hotel are second to none and often exceed expectations. Country hotels are almost always full of features themselves. With all their history, the décor of the hotel is normally left alone to keep the characteristics of the country house.

The summer is the best time in the year to get out of the office, everyone loves to get outside the office and see some warming sun. This kind of event always works best if your office is in a city. Your delegates are sure to enjoy the days out and also they will be relaxed and will have enjoyed themselves enough to be happy to go into a meeting during their summer event. Summer events also provide a brilliant means of getting out in the fresh air and chatting to other delegates and friends.

Summer events are all about relaxation especially in the sun. If the weathers permitting you are always advised to get outside into the sun and relax before and after your meeting. Racecourses continue to be a very popular venue for a meeting because your delegates can enjoy the horse racing and relax in the sun whilst being at a good venue and being ready for a meeting. Holding an event at or near the meeting venue is a very important factor when deciding where to hold your summer event.

The Location of your summer event is also key in a way that is much different to organising a conference. For instance, you will not find an outdoor venue in London, or they are very rare. Also, access to sunlight is important; you do not want to be in a garden relaxing in the shade all the time because of large trees blocking the sunlight. Another factor is obviously the venues meeting areas. Once in the middle of summer you may find that some summer venues will make meeting space in a conservatory. This is a superb idea which keeps delegates relaxed.
