How do I guarantee that my venue has easy access and plenty of parking?

Searching by accessibility is a speciality of our free venue finding service. We can search by motorway Junction and Journey time from a certain location to ensure that the venues offered are in a suitable location. We carry information on how close the nearest airport, where the nearest train is and also on how much parking there is available. We can even tell you if they charge or for parking or not!

Why can’t I find the perfect venue for my meeting?

In many cases people contact our venue finder team, when they have been trying to find a suitable venue themselves. We hear the above question all the time. The answer we give is. They are not specialists, they do not have the proper equipment or databases to carry out an effective job, they only know hotels and have poor product knowledge. Why does finding a venue take me so long?

Trying to find a venue when you have a role in an organisation to fill is a difficult task, phones ringing people needing your time etc. It’s often difficult to make time to search for and call suitable venues. When you also consider that using the internet and directories can also be time consuming and frustrating it no surprise that people think venue finding takes a long time. I am being charged a transaction fee by our travel management company for the same service. Why?

Travel management companies charge fees for everything because in many cases booking flights etc does not earn the commissions that enable them to operate effectively. On conference and meeting venues they simply charge a fee and earn an 8 % – 10% commission. We operate on the commission only and do not believe that charging for the service is either required or ethical!

How do I find unusual venues?

By giving our team of venues the best possible brief detailing exactly what you want, we will be able to find you the perfect venue if it exists. We pride ourselves on offering fun venues, unique venues, unusual venues and in some case like the London Dungeons and the Chamber of Horrors event frightening venues!

Why cant I find funky venues in the UK?

Finding new and exciting venues can often be difficult because they are not the norm. Many agencies do not work with funky venues as this is not something they specialise in. Some very corporate agencies even ask us to undertake the more complicated venue find for them in their name. To put it simply we are the industry leaders in working with trendy bars, nightclubs and contemporary hotels!

I want to book exclusive, 5star venues, but can’t find them. Why?

Some exclusive venues do not market traditionally as they want to remain exclusive. Because of the exclusive clients that we work with we have excellent relationships with all of the most exclusive bars, night clubs, hotels and restaurants.

I have a tight budget for my meeting and conference venues, why can’t I find any suitable venues?

Often finding a venue for tight budget can be difficult especially as many venue have high prices advertised on their websites. All of our venue finding team are trained in negotiating prices and in understand market trends. This enables us to get venues to offer prices that you may not have though possible. We also receive special offers and availability updates from venues meaning that we can couple your meeting requirement with their availability meaning a win, win situation for you and the venue.

What is the difference between venues offering, cabaret, theatre style, classroom, boardroom and U shape?

The difference is best described graphically click venue layouts and this will offer a description of each. It is important to understand the implications of your layout. If you are looking to fit the most people in a space then Theatre style will achieve this. However if your delegates need to write then a table will mean that cabaret or classroom will be required. If you are training groups of between 10 and 40 delegates then either boardroom or U shape for the smaller groups and cabaret for the large groups.
