Royal Station Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne

Set in the heart of Newcastle city centre, The Assembly Rooms is a grand Georgian building dating back to 1776.
Owned and run personally by the Michaelides family, this building of international importance has been sympathetically restored to match its former glory.

The Assembly Rooms offer 6 main function suites with additional syndicate areas, all of which offer accommodation of the highest standard. The famous Chandelier Suite on the first floor, still features its rare set of rococo chandeliers and can accommodate up to 420 conference guests or 340 for fine dining, with the adjoining outer suites offering full bar facilities and a reception area. Located on the ground floor The Lower Ballroom and The Sovereign Suite can accommodate up to 240 and 120 guests respectively. On the second floor we have 2 purpose built conference suites, the Meldon and Halton, accommodating up to 40 and 30 respectively.

Although a non-residential venue, The Assembly Rooms are able to offer discounted accommodation rates at selected city centre hotels.

The diversity of the facilities, coupled with the fact that this is a family run business dedicated to quality and service in the highest order, makes The Assembly Rooms the most 'Comprehensive Conference & Banqueting Venue in the North East'.
