Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Surrey

Established in 1987, Lingfield Park Golf Club is set amongst 200 acres of breathtaking Surrey Parkland at Lingfield Park Racecourse. The Course is a challenging 18 hole, 72 standard scratch course that is 6487 yards in length and offers bunkers, wind funnels, streams, ponds and a variety of mature trees which all make for a great day’s sport for golfers of all abilities. The course was the home of the Surrey PGA Open for three consecutive years and boasts Sir Henry Cooper OBE, KSG as its patron. Over the years Lingfield Park has built a reputation for excellent facilities, fine golf and great hospitality and 2010 will see the start of a new chapter in the club’s history.

In May 2010 the new Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club opens and will incorporate a new club house, pro-shop, changing facilities and golf lounge for members and residents alike. In addition there have been many enhancements to the course, including a new state of the art academy area including a split level putting green, bunkers, chipping area, driving range and covered teaching bay area. Different tee positions allow for all standards of golfer and with the new academy Lingfield Park will become the venue of choice for experienced and amateur golfers alike.

When the hotel opens in May 2010 Lingfield Park will become the UK’s first fully integrated onsite hotel, racecourse, golf and spa resort. The hotel will offer 116 bedrooms, many with golf course views, a selection of private function and hospitality suites, Spa, Cyprium Bar & Grill and of course, the 18 hole golf course.
