Conference Venues

Conference Venues can be very hard to find anywhere in the world. These days there are so many different venues offering a whole host of different conference facilities and services. From the layout of the conference venue to the lighting it really is a complex breakdown of different venue options. Many people prefer different facilities at conference venues you will find it hard to satisfy everyone.

Being a venue finder we face this problem every day, however experience in finding conference venues put together with the knowledge of the area and actual site visits that we do we can source a conference venue fast. Venue finding becomes much easier with experience of the location and facilities conference venues provide. For example, you may be looking for a conference venue that is very unusual, a castle for example. On the other hand you might just be looking for a conference venue in London that has easy and quick access to and from a major London airport.

You have to consider the location of the conference venue and how your delegates are going to get to the venue and if they are coming from abroad. If you are holding an International conference you will need to be located within easy access of an airport else your International delegates will be dissatisfied with your choice of conference venue.

If you’ve been set the task of finding a conference venue for an event then my advice would be to call a venue finding agency. They take all the pressure off of you and also make sure your delegates will be congratulating you on your venue choice. More importantly, they save you time and indeed money. Being a free to use service means that they can find you a venue whilst being an important contact between you and the conference venue. If they are genuinely free they will earn their money from commission that is already arranged between the two.

Also, you need to try and establish how big the company is and what experience they have. If they have been operating for a number of years then they may have a contact that they work with within the conference venue. If this is the case then a reduced rate can be possible.

Once you have had a site visit we are sure your decision will have been made and you will have enjoyed one of the conference venues a lot. Having visited hundreds of conference venues we know what to look for in them. Site visits are a huge opportunity to see a conference venue in person. Also, the venue will try their hardest to make your visit memorable. If they do not make it memorable with quality and friendly service then that conference venue is not for you.

Conference venues really do have an extraordinary range of different services and facilities that they promote in their own way. You may want a specialist conference venue in London and have many facilities at the conference venue but maybe not so much activity outside of the venue. Whereas you could hold your conference at Duxford Imperial War Museum (for instance) and have not so many facilities but after the conference you can let your delegates scour the many war planes and aircraft. Maybe even stretch to an air display!!
