Radisson SAS Portman

Unfortunately our tour guide had to spend the day in hospital. However, there was a replacement waiting for us. After already seeing some luxurious hotels earlier that day the Radisson SAS had a lot to live up to.

It wasn’t as glorious as the likes of the Cumberland and the Grosvenor however it offered practicality in all areas of its service. Each meeting room was well kitted out and all but one had natural daylight.

The rooms ranged in sizes and were flexible as to what they could accommodate. Most of the walls could be pulled back to convert two smaller rooms into one large room. The Library (boardroom only, 14 max) was the most memorable of the rooms showing off a unique appearance.

This venue can host a variety of events ranging from a meeting for 2 to a party for 600. The reception and restaurant are placed next to each other which could be off putting for diners. Perhaps some well chosen plants could be used as a barrier to block the view (but not the access) of the two functions.
